How do I land my fighters?

According to the rules, fighters must reserve movement to land in a safe location.  All air units must land if possible.  This can include a friendly territory, an aircraft carrier that you own that is in reach or can reach the plane, or on an aircraft carrier that will be mobilized in the next phase.


Note: Due to some deviations in our game, fighters cannot land on an allied aircraft carrier at this time.

Instructions

Here are some things to look for when landing your fighters.

  • Look for a friendly territory that the fighter can reach.  These will be highlighted in blue.
  • Look for an aircraft carrier that the fighter can move to.  You must be the owner of the aircraft carrier.
  • If the fighter does not have enough fuel to move to land or to an aircraft carrier, there is likely an aircraft carrier within reach.  The aircraft carrier will need to move to the fighter for it to land.  
    • Note: It is possible for the aircraft carrier to move into a sea zone with a submarine during this stage.
  • Look to see if you have an aircraft carrier in the mobilization panel.  Fighters can move to an available sea zone if there is an aircraft carrier that can be mobilized in that zone.
  • You may need to move fighters off of a carrier if they can and the fighter can't make it somewhere else.  Based on how the system works, an aircraft carrier that can move to a fighter may be the designated landing spot if the fighters it is supporting can be moved to safety.


You may need to move units around to be able to land all fighters.  It's best to be aware of how many spaces you've moved a fighter and where your aircraft carriers are.  If you've tried all possible configurations and you are still having a problem, please file a ticket with our Customer Service Desk.  To best assist you, please provide us with a screenshot if possible.  If this is an online game, please provide the game name and the email you signed up with.  If you're playing a single player or hot seat game, please attach the save game from the local-games folder.
